Dr. A. Erdem Canda

Dr. A. Erdem Canda is Professor of Urology at Koç University Hospital in Istanbul and Director of the RMK AIMES Surgical Training Center (Rahmi M. Koç Academy of Interventional Medicine, Education, and Simulation). He serves as Symposium & Course Secretary for the Mona & Philip Sunshine Symposium.

A respected physician and healthcare leader, Dr. Canda has played a central role in establishing and growing the partnership between Koç University Hospital and the Mona & Philip Sunshine Symposium — an international medical collaboration dedicated to advancing cancer care, research, and physician education. Through his work, he has fostered meaningful exchanges between physicians and medical leaders at Koç University Hospital and Emory University in Atlanta, creating opportunities for shared learning and discussion of the latest developments in oncology and related specialties.
