Dr. Öner Şanlı

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öner Şanlı is Professor of Urology in the Division of Urologic Oncology at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He completed his medical training at Gazi University in 1998 and his urology residency at Istanbul University in 2004, passed the European Board of Urology examination in 2008, and was promoted to professor in 2017.

He served as a visiting professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (2016–2018) and his research focuses on urologic oncology, robotics, and laparoscopy in bladder and prostate cancer.
