Dr. Tarık Esen

Prof. Dr. Tarık Esen is Associate Dean and Professor of Urology at Koç University School of Medicine and Head of the Department of Urology at the VKV American Hospital in Istanbul, where he has led the department since 2002.

He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1984, completed his urology residency at the same institution, and conducted research at the Mannheim School of Medicine and the Mayo Clinic in the late 1990s. He chaired the Turkish Urological Association (2006–2008) and served on the EAU Board of Directors (2003–2013).
